About Christopher T. Nace
Christopher T. Nace is an experienced injury and medical malpractice attorney who handles a wide range of cases, from medical mistakes and defective products to car accidents, wrongful death, and other negligence issues. He’s taken many medical malpractice cases to jury verdict in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia.
Chris grew up in Washington, D.C., and earned a degree from Georgetown University in 1998. He completed a JD/MBA at Emory University in 2003, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the law journal and received top honors like the Rothfeder Family Scholarship and the Dean’s Public Service Award. He serves as Treasurer of the American Association for Justice and has held leadership roles in several legal organizations. Over the years, he’s earned multiple awards, like AAJ’s Distinguished Service Award, the Joe Tonahill Award, and the Howard Twiggs Award, as well as recognition from Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Lawdragon, and others.
About Samantha Peters
Samantha L. Peters is a trial-focused attorney who takes on medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, and other negligence cases. She joined Nace Law Group in 2022. Originally from Maine, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Communication from the University of Southern Maine in 2011, then earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where she was active in the Mock Trial Team and the Public Contract Law Journal, served as a judicial intern for Judge John B. Beliveau, and clerked for two D.C. law firms.
Before joining her current firm, Samantha was an Associate Attorney at a Maryland firm, where she built the firm’s medical malpractice section from scratch, handling everything from client intake to trial and managing staff along the way. She’s licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for D.C., and she’s involved in a range of professional organizations like the Maryland Association for Justice, the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., the American Association for Justice, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Samantha has earned notable recognition, too, being named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, included in Top Verdict’s “Top 100 Medical Malpractice Verdicts in the U.S.” in 2019, and selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2024.
